Improved Spoke Hole Angle Alignment
The inward curvature allows spoke holes to better match the natural spoke angle from the hub, reducing friction and stress between spokes and the rim wall.
This results in smoother wheel building, more balanced tension, and longer-lasting wheelsets.Adjust the angle by +/- 15 degrees.

Potential Weight Optimization
When properly engineered, the recessed design increases local stiffness without requiring thicker wall sections.
This allows for more efficient material use, enabling overall rim weight reduction while maintaining strength.
